Funding your account
Deposit CC, move it between Funding and Trading, and withdraw to another Canton wallet.
Launchpad separates the assets in your wallet from the funds available to trade. Open Wallet inside Launchpad to check both locations and move CC between them.
Funding and Trading
| Location | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Funding | Receiving CC into your connected wallet and withdrawing to another Canton wallet |
| Trading | Paying for launches and trades, and receiving confirmed creator or referral claims |
Receiving CC into Funding does not automatically make it available in Trading. The Transfer action moves CC between the two locations.
Deposit CC
- Sign in and check the account and network.
- Select Deposit in Wallet or the account balance menu.
- Copy the complete Canton Party ID shown for your account.
- Send CC on Canton from the source wallet and wait for confirmation.
- Refresh Funding and check the received amount.
If your assets are on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum or Solana, use the supported Bridge flow. A Canton Party ID is not an Ethereum or Solana deposit address.
Transfer CC to Trading
Select Transfer and check that the direction is Funding → Trading. Enter the amount or use a percentage shortcut, then review and authorize the transfer in your wallet. Wait until the confirmed amount is available in Trading.
MAX leaves a reserve for the network fee. The displayed reserve is an estimate; any unused amount stays in Funding. If Funding cannot cover the transfer and its fee, add more CC or reduce the amount.
To move CC back, switch the direction to Trading → Funding and review the available amount. A pending transfer can temporarily prevent changing direction.
Withdraw to another Canton wallet
First move the CC to Funding if it is in Trading. Select Withdraw, paste the recipient's full Canton Party ID, enter the amount and include a memo if the recipient requires one. The recipient must have transfer preapproval enabled.
Review the network, destination and amount before authorizing. Keep the confirmed transaction reference. A memo is recorded on Canton and visible to the transfer's parties, so only include the reference the recipient needs.
If a transfer is pending
Open the existing transfer and check its status. Use the provided recovery action rather than starting a duplicate. Dismissing a browser record does not cancel or reverse a transfer.
See troubleshooting if the outcome stays unclear. The separate Wallet documentation covers the standalone Wallet app.
