Fees and trade costs
Separate creation fees, trading fees, price impact and network costs.
Review the cost of the specific action before authorizing it. Fees and graduation terms are published for the selected launch or pool; the final review supplies the amounts that apply to your transaction.
The costs you may see
| Cost | When it applies | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Creation fee | Creating a coin | A separate CC charge shown in the launch review |
| Trading fee | A buy, sell or supported swap leg | Taken from the relevant CC trade amount |
| Network or wallet cost | When required by the selected action | Review the amount and asset in the wallet flow |
| Price impact | Trading against finite reserves | A change in execution price, not a separate fee |
The creation fee does not increase the coin's curve reserve. Trading fees are also accounted for outside the active reserve used to measure graduation progress.
A buy example
With a quoted 1% fee on a 100 CC buy:
Gross CC input 100 CC
Trading fee 1 CC
Net CC to reserve 99 CCThe token output comes from pricing the net input against the current market. You cannot derive it by subtracting 1% from the displayed token price.
A sell example
If a sell releases 100 CC gross from the market and the quoted fee is 1%, the fee is 1 CC and the net output is 99 CC. The token quantity required to release that gross amount depends on the market state.
These examples explain a 1% fee. Pools may carry different configurations, and exact arithmetic is part of the quote.
Multi-leg swaps
A token-to-token route can trade through CC. Review each leg and the total route output. A fee on each leg is different from one fee on the overall route; do not estimate the cost from a single headline percentage.
Creator share
The creator share is an allocation of the trading fee. It is not an extra charge added to that same fee. The applicable pool configuration determines the split. Read creator rewards for accrual and claims.
Where to check current terms
Use the launch review for creation, the trade quote for execution and the coin's market information for pool terms. Builders can inspect the public policy response and supply options. When a response contains legacy preview terms alongside liveTerms, use the appropriate live and pool-specific configuration for the connected market.
