Create a coin
Prepare the identity, supply, fees and creator account for a new Canton coin.
Open Create Coin with the account you intend to use as the creator. Have your artwork, description and official project links ready.
Define the coin
Enter the coin name and ticker, then add its icon. Use a distinct identity that people can recognize and verify. The app validates the current format and length requirements as you enter them.
Add a clear description: what the coin represents, who is creating it and where people can learn more. Add official links and an optional banner. Avoid claims about guaranteed returns or liquidity.
Choose an available supply
Select one of the supply options offered by the connected service. Review the total supply, curve allocation and reserved AMM inventory in the details.
The available list and economics come from the launch configuration. A larger token count changes the price per token; it does not, by itself, increase the value of the project. Do not copy supply or price figures from another coin's launch.
Review fees and the creator account
Check the creation fee, trading fee and creator share. Confirm the account and creator reward destination shown in the launch review.
The creation fee is separate from trading liquidity. If the flow offers an opening purchase, it is a trade with its own quote and fees. It does not create a free creator allocation or a discounted price.
Confirm the launch
- Re-read the name, ticker, artwork, description and links.
- Check the selected supply and economic terms.
- Confirm the creator account and review the required acknowledgements.
- Authorize the action through the connected wallet.
- Wait for the confirmed result and open the resulting coin page.
Changing the account, network or launch details may invalidate the review. Prepare a new review rather than reusing a previous approval.
After creation
Use the coin's own page when sharing its market. You can find your launched coins and available rewards in Profile & Rewards.
A browser Preview creates simulated state. It does not establish an on-ledger launch. For connected launches, use the confirmed result as the record of creation.
