Transfers and activity
Review transaction records, respond to pending transfers and understand locked amounts.
Wallet separates Activity, which lists transaction records, from Pending, which shows transfers that still have a condition or action outstanding.
Review activity
Open the Activity tab and select a transaction. Review the asset, amount, date, status and counterparties shown in its details. Copy the transaction reference when you need to track an issue.
Use the explorer link provided for that transaction when available. An explorer may show different information from your authenticated Wallet because Canton data access depends on the participants and the transaction.
Incoming transfers
Open Pending to review an incoming transfer. Check the sender, asset, amount and response deadline before choosing the action shown.
- Accept completes your part of receiving an eligible transfer.
- Reject declines it.
- A transfer that has expired may no longer be available to accept.
Accepting or rejecting can require a signed transaction. Review its details and any cost before approving.
Outgoing transfers
A pending outgoing transfer can keep an amount locked while the recipient or transfer conditions are unresolved. It may be included in a total balance without being available to spend again.
For an eligible expired outgoing transfer, Wallet can display Withdraw. This action attempts to release the locked amount back to your available balance. It is not a way to reverse an already completed payment.
Only use Withdraw when the app offers it for that transfer. After confirming, refresh Pending, Activity and Assets to check the result.
One-step transfers
The preapprovals shown under Settings → One-Step Transfers apply to incoming assets. They can remove a separate acceptance step for eligible transfers of that instrument.
An enabled preapproval is not permission for someone else to spend your balance. It also does not remove the need to review your own outgoing transfers.
Keep the reference
For a transfer that remains unresolved, keep its reference, approximate time, asset and status. Share those details through official support, without including wallet secrets or authentication tokens.
